TWO HOUR MORNING Elephant Tour with an Overnight Stay at the Camp.
8:30: breakfast will be served at the roadside cafe near the welcome area where you will watch the Mahouts bring the elephants down from the mountain where they sleep.
9-10:00: When you have finished breakfast, you can go and feed the elephants and get to know each other before leaving for the mountain to observe them in their natural environment. You can feel free to interact with them while they roam around and eat, just be sure to give them space to move about. If you are lucky, the morning fog will still be lingering and you can watch as the fog lifts and the morning sun bathes the mountainside. Be sure to have your camera.
10-11:00: After a brief stop at the Welcome area where there will be time for a water/bathroom break, we will continue our trek down to the river where you will help the elephant bathe and then perhaps watch them splash around if they are feeling frisky. After their necessary bath, they may just scamper off to get some more food and you can join them for that as well. We let the elephants decide what they want to do and then you can join them for whatever that might be
